6. Installation & Maintenance
Installation
- Location: It is recommended to install it in a position within the operator’s line of sight and easy to operate, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperature and humid areas.
- Depth: Since the installation depth is less than 50mm, it is necessary to ensure sufficient space behind the panel (such as installing a wall box or mounting frame) to facilitate wiring and later maintenance.
- Connection: Connect to 24V power supply, and connect Ethernet (for network communication) and USB (for maintenance or connecting peripherals) to ensure firm and reliable connection.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft dry cloth to clean the screen, avoid using highly corrosive cleaners, so as not to damage the resistive layer of the touchscreen.
- System Upgrade: Regularly check the software version, and use Siemens TIA Portal or WinCC software to update the system to ensure the stable operation of the device and obtain new functions.
